A while back Adam introduced me to LesserEvil's black and white kettle corn. I had given my friend some a few months back while I was cutting her hair. She emailed me yesterday asking what that "chocolate covered pirate booty-ish stuff" was because she'd been craving it like mad (she's 6+ months pregnant). It's made with cane juice instead of high fructose corn syrup and is gluten free. So whether your pregnant or not, you should really try this stuff.
It's much too easy to make sweet, lovely crumble. Sometimes I just can't resist the urge. I had a huge bag of frozen strawberries and some fresh, crisp apples and thought.....hmmmmm, I could make something really tasty with these...

I knew it meant one thing: a hen had laid her first egg. I was super surpised to see that it was the youngest one, Pinto. Here's her lovely, lovely blue egg
This lamp is made from about 80 egg-carton-cups! I love the deep purple color, but I'm not sure I could spare that many cartons since I constantly have eggs to put them in......I'm thinking that there's something else I could recycle to make a lamp this pretty, I'm just not sure exactly what it would be yet!
